Global Public Relations Firm to Help Freedom from Hunger Pro Bono
Porter Novelli, a public relations firm within the Omnicom Group of marketing companies, has agreed to take on Freedom from Hunger as a pro bono client. In this partnership, Porter Novelli will help Freedom from Hunger raise awareness about its Reach for Three Million plan and high-impact malaria initiative, as well as increase general name recognition among the organization's target audiences. Planning has already begun from Porter Novelli's Silicon Valley office in California, where an account team will provide PR guidance through media training, news releases, community outreach and other services. “Porter Novelli is pleased to be working with such an innovative and successful global organization that has already done so much for many women and their families,” says Sandy Skees, partner at Porter Novelli. “Freedom from Hunger's mission of ending hunger for good through self-help solutions and education programs really resonates with our staff. We are all looking forward to this exciting collaboration.”
